PRODUCER/WRITER/ACTRESS
 

She was born in New Jersey but spent her teen years in sunny South Florida. It was there that she decided to actively pursue her love for the arts. She attained several talent agents and appeared in many local and regional commercials, shorts and independent films. Her first producer credit was a music video, Honey Child, which aired for several years on BET. She also wrote her first full length screenplay shortly after, JADED (which she plans on shooting before 2010 comes to an end).

Realizing that this may actually be her calling, she decided to move to Los Angeles in 2006. In three short years she's started a networking group for actors, been in over seven plays, shot two national commercials, appeared on three televisions series and had supporting and leading roles on four feature films. (Was just recently cast in TWO Don B Welch plays, one being “The Bachelorette Party” alongside Essence Atkins of TV series Half and Half and Tatiana Ali from Fresh Prince of Bel Air).

August 2008, she wrote and produced her second project, Lend a Hand, which was chosen as one of the three finalists (out of 64) in the ALLSTATE BE REEL Contest for the American Black Film Festival. It was directed by veteran actor, Gary A Sturgis. It is still currently a part of All State’s Beyond February campaign.

Producing her second short, WEIGH MONEY   with  fellow actor Joy Sudduth was such an amazing and fulfilling experience that they have officially established their own production company, JOYFUL DAY PRODUCTIONS www.joyfuldayproductions.com  in March of 2009. Weigh Money was selected for and has won several film festivals all over the US.

They have just finished production on their THIRD short, A NUMBERS GAME, which was a part of the ALLSTATE “Beyond February” online short film contest. ALL of their short films have aired on National TV as well.

The duo has such an amazing blend of tenacity and being positive minus the typical Hollywood egos.  I assure you, they will very soon be a force to be reckoned with in LaLa land!
